Teacher-student connections are making headlines

In case you missed it, Along was recently featured on KIMT-TV

The story highlights how Rochester Public Schools (RPS) in Rochester, Minnesota used Along to help build connections between its students and teachers.

As reporter Alec Oas writes, “Using digital media like this during a time when there are a lot of time constraints in the classroom helps both teachers and students dedicate time to communicate one-on-one.”

On the broadcast, Along’s program director, Samia Zaidi, shared that when strong relationships are established with Along, this can further fuel the in-person interactions taking place in the classroom.

KIMT is the leading provider of local news in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa, including Rochester, Mason City, Austin, Albert Lea and Charles City.
