Sneak peek into the evolving Along

New Along features

We’ve spent months listening to educators and school leaders around the country to understand what would help them the most in the upcoming school year. Based on their insights, Along is preparing to launch an updated set of features just in time for the back to school season!

The expanded tool will now help educators incorporate student voice so their classroom instruction can be more effective. But of course, the award-winning Along will continue to be a solution for educators to get to know their students as individuals.

The evolving Along is guided by the current needs of the education community. Through direct conversations with educators and school leaders—and a close look at academic research—we heard that above all else, educators want to increase student engagement and motivation in the classroom.

With that overarching need around student engagement and motivation in mind, educators also consistently asked three key questions throughout our listening tour:

  1. Is there a way to make building teacher-student connections more efficient?
  2. When students are regularly communicating with their teacher, what can an educator do next with the information that is being shared?
  3. Are there ways to understand trends about what teachers are hearing from their students and to follow up efficiently?

The updates we’re adding to Along will offer a solution to these core challenges, while remaining always free and easy to use.

Are you as excited as we are? We just can’t wait to share a sneak peak of some of the updates we will be introducing over the coming weeks.

Consider joining us for a live webinar on Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m. PT / 11:30 a.m. ET, when we’ll share more about the expanded Along.
